Fallout 4: How To Max SPECIAL At Level 1

This is more useful if you are a console player as on PC you can just use console to max SPECIAL (and it does count for achievements, weirdly enough).

I tried this just to see that it works, on PC, but then I restarted my game as it felt just too cheesy.

Here is how its done:

I tried to use extra large images here, but since new Chrome update it refuses to save or publish posts with anything bigger than large (which is too small for this). So I tossed them onto Pinterest board here.

Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide Performance Optimization and Fixes

Dead Island Optimization
I have serious power rig, using GTX 780 Ti and in the past ten years I've only had issues with two badly optimized games. Borderlands 2 and Dead Island. While Borderlands 2 gives you options to fix the problems, Dead Island hides those options. So, here is a rather detailed guide on how to get things done.

First you need to go into your game folder. Your exact path will vary, I keep my games on tertiary drive in Games folder, so in my case it would be E:\Games\Dead Island.

You need to go to DI subfolder in your game folder. Copy Data0.pak. Rename copy extension to .rar instead of .pak. Extract it. In it you will see data folder. Copy entire data folder  into Out subfolder in DI subfolder of your game directory. Once thats done you can change everything you need to to make this game run much smoother on your machine.

Dead Island Bloodbath Arena Fix

Dead Island Bloodbath Arena

I just reinstalled GOTY edition of Dead Island, and I rushed to the Arena, only to notice that attempting to enter it would just kick me to the load screen.

I found the fix, so sharing.

Skyforge Open Beta Has Began (Video) First Look

Its MMORPG, its shiny, its new, so I tried it.

Story intro kinda reminded me of Amalur, which is not really a good thing. Graphics looked decent enough at 1920x1080, but MMO's still have much worse graphics than a decent single player game as target demographic will be wider. They want people too poor and stupid to get a decent computer, and just stupid enough to waste thousands on microtransactions.

Combat I found lacking. Its typical Warcraft thing. I expected but more action oriented, less pushing 1-2-3.

Porn Star Sakura Mana Stars in Gaming Laptop CM by jackhunterxxx

PC hardware maker Iiyama has obtained plenty of attention online due to their recent CM, which reveals the mesmerizing AV idol Sakura Mana (presumably undressed) as she enthusiastically cheers on the gaming efforts of an unseen player – something of an upset to gamers who would like to be regarded as something other than porn-driven creeps, however apt a description it may be of them at the end of the day.

Best MMO's To Play In 2015

This list is specifically MMO's being released in second half of 2015, not MMO's that are already out.

camelot unchained

Camelot Unchained

Official website: http://camelotunchained.com/en/

One of the most anticipated MMO games of 2015, Camelot Unchained is an upcoming realm-vs-realm (RvR) old school MMORPG by City State Entertainment. Their Kickstarter raised over $2.2 million with an estimated delivery date of 2015 for the beta testing phase.

What’s awesome about this game is two words: old school. The developers have promised a “chaotic game with epic surprises at every turn.” The game is being built around three main elements: RvR, crafting and housing.

It will be a purely subscription-based MMORPG. And therefore most folks will not waste time trying it at all. Subscription games are dying. Freemium is where its at. Wildstar is going free to play in few months. Why? Because people are not stupid enough to pay to play a game with dead servers. I am ok with paying some money, but only if there are players to kill, and most people in 2015 only look for free to play.

warhammer mmorpg

Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade

Official website: http://www.eternalcrusade.com/

Due to be released late 2015, Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade by Behavior Interactive will be playable on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. This is an open world action shooter type of MMO with a 3rd person (over the shoulder) view. It will feature four races: Orks, Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, and Eldar. Looks like this will be quite fun for people who enjoy PvP-focused games.

It seems that this will be a “freemium” (a combination of both premium and free) type of game. Players who buy the box or digital download will get full access to the entire game. Those who want to try it out first will be able to play a limited free account.

This is second attempt at W40K MMO. First one died before it got released. Considering how clueless people releasing Games Workshop video games have been, and how lame games themselves have been (ripoff of 90's Panzer General yet released in 2014, ripoff of Chess thats just nonsense, and ripoff of some lame simplistic flash game)  this could suck worse than SWTOR. Well see.

sc

Star Citizen

Official website: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/

A very promising space simulation game that features both single player gameplay and a persistent universe, Star Citizen by Roberts Space Industries is an unusual space trading/combat MMO. The MMO part of Star Citizen will have no classes, a player-run dynamic economy, customizable ships, realistic physics, and exciting PvP (ship vs ship and ground combat) battles.

Star Citizen will have a “rolling launch” in which modules will be released on after the other. According to their official release schedule, modules will be released from 2014 onwards and on that page it’s said that the developers are aiming to “launch the Persistent Universe sometime in 2015.” It is important to note that the official Star Citizen launch date is 2016.

Problem with Star Citizen is that its not even out yet investors are already being nickel and dimed. Unless you are insane I would suggest holding off on giving them any money until game is widely available and played and reviewed by decent Let's Players. Spending hundreds of dollars on what amounts to a tech demo is just nuts.

The Evil Within Sucks: 71 Seconds Of Pure Torture (Video)

I tried to play this nonsense half a dozen times prior to making this short video. Its only 71 seconds, and it does not need to be any longer than that to give every sane person out there sufficient reason not to play this garbage.

I expected reasonably moving horror story, similar to quality Resident Evil title perhaps. Instead, we have huge loading times. I have gaming and 3D design oriented custom built rig using GTX 780 Ti, 32 GB Ram, 8 core Intel, its blazing fast ... except when it comes to loading times in The Evil Within which give me enough time to go hunt a deer, skin it, cook it, have a shower, eat it, and have a coffee and a dessert.

First 10-20 minutes is extremely slow intro, I skipped recording that as every lets play has it at start, so just go watch it in any of them. Running is disabled, combat is disabled, its just walking very slowly, then getting leg busted up, so now its slower than walking ... perhaps it gets better eventually, I do not know, nor do I care as first hour in The Evil Within is something perhaps designed to be used as a method of torture in Guantanamo Bay.

Betrayer Shovel Spade Location

This game is just great. Its a story set in what, to me, looks like version of Roanoke Colony. If you've never heard of Roanoke Colony, you can read about that here: Roanoke Colony.

There are hundreds of mini sub-quests built in, almost all optional.

Dex 2D Cyberpunk Adventure Revisited ... and its full of bugs and bad design decisions!

When a game tells you to press F5 to save, you kinda assume that it means it saves, right? Not if that game is Dex. In Dex "save game" means "back up your autosave". That would not even be so bad, except that Dex uses checkpoint system where all your progress in a level is wiped if you "save" and come back. Some conversations are very lengthy, and when you reload, you must redo ALL of it again. That could mean wasting 30 minutes of your life every time you quit session, or die.

And dying in Dex is stupidly easy. You do not actually need to try to die. It just happens. You jump, not far enough, oops, you plummeted to your death. Every 5 feet. One hour in and I might be world record holder in deaths from falling into bottomless chasms. Every time that happens, its back to redoing all the conversations.

Warhammer 40k Regicide: Yet another stupid abuse of Warhammer IP (Early Access Video of Regicide)

While all the fans are waiting for actual, computer version of tabletop, Games Workshop keeps having idiots make bad games using its flagship IP.

I like Warhammer, I also like Warhammer 40k, and Necromunda, Blood Bowl and Space Hulk not so much, but they are still all solid games. They work, people love them, there is built in fanbase that will buy them as they come out.

MMO free to play with microtransactions would be logical direction to take Warhammer franchises. Instead, these dum dums go ahead and make some garbage Chess ripoff nonsense, right after making Plants vs Zombies ripoff and Panzer General ripoff using W40K IP.

Whoever is making these decisions needs to be sacked, fired, kicked off the island, because guy is an idiot.

There are MILLIONS of people who are currently not playing Warhammer nor Warhammer 40k miniatures games because of need to assemble and paint armies. Thats MILLIONS who would try and invest their hard earned cash into online version. Yet, they are ripping off ideas of other games rather than just do what they did right to begin with. Its stupid.

My opinion on Warhammer 40k Regicide is that it SUCKS and that nobody sane should waste money on it. But heres a video so you can see how lame job they do on tutorial aspect. Seriously, its like they go out of their way to hire dumbest people to do this.

Guns, Gore and Cannoli

Its a standard platformer, with Italian Mafia Gang Warfare meets the Zombies spin.

Some people might like this, I found it bit too repetitive, and after about an hour in I ran into a boss where game difficulty just ridiculously ramps up. If game drew me in more, maybe i'd feel like investing more time into beating it, but as is, I was already feeling like removing it off of my hard drive after 20 minutes, and several times beyond that.

In my opinion, it would be far better game if it allowed levelling up, skill trees, and other ways of improving character rather than just giving bunch of weapons with very limited ammo. No character progression makes for a dull game.

Caribbean: Character Creation (Classes)

This game has four starting classes and they are anything but balanced. Perhaps better way to look at it would be to choose a class based on what level of difficulty you want early on. Later on, it no longer matters.

Four options are: Enterprising Merchant, Retired Lieutenant, Escaped Convict and Dastardly Pirate.

Caribbean: Military Ranks and Business Reputation

Military ranks:

Midshipman:

Can hire colonial soldiers.
Can purchase light ships.

Lieutenant:

Can purchase medium ships, up to rank 2.
Can have 1 letter of marquee.
Can purchase 12-pounder naval artillery.
Can upgrade vessels.
Can join a faction.
