Mount And Blade Solo Part 2

This is first solo tournament I entered, I am level 3, and entire tournament happened to be just polearms. In case you didnt know tournaments in Mount and Blade give random weapons, its very rare that everybody is given just one type for all fights.

Mount And Blade Warband Solo Part One

In anticipation of Mount And Blade 2 Bannerlord I am playing again Warband which I put away for several months. And I figured I might as well record part of it and share what i learned from few years of playing this game on and off.

I played Mount And blade since prerelease Beta, I was one of early supporters, and this game has evolved quite a bit since then. It is the only medieval mounted combat simulator in existence and it does that job fairly well, although i find AI coding bit lackluster.

On to the game. Main skill in entire game is Weaponmaster. If you look over at Taleworlds forums for M&B you'll find lot of very clueless people who will disagree, but then they mostly are cheaters too and so they never learned actual intricacies of this game. I do not cheat, ever, I try to learn game mechanics, build superior characters, and dominate games.

In order to get Weaponmaster to its max level, 10, we need 30 Agility. My choices for character creation are purely based on obtaining Weaponmaster quickest and for overall maintaining character that has no weaknesses at all.

Best weapon in entire game is Masterwork Warbow which at around 400-500 weaponskill will one shot anything in entire game with a headshot including best armored Lords in full plate. Each 100 points of weaponskill adds about 15% to damage. So weaponskill is very important. Weaponmaster makes amount of xp needed to level it far lower than if it was kept low. Without it at level 10 you would probably get bored far before getting any weapon to 500 weaponskill, with it, its a matter of few days of playing the game.

Easiest way to gear up and level up fast early is to farm groups of Sea Raiders. They are level 16. I farm them at level 3 to level 20. Other than that easiest money is winning tournaments and betting on yourself, that nets you about 3300 per win  (about 4000 minus 700 that you bet).

Here is a video with gameplay of getting to point where I farm Sea Raiders within 10 minutes of loading up the game:
